Frogger was an early video game, the gameplay consisting of attempting to safely guide frogs across a busy road (avoiding being squashed by cars) then a fast flowing river (by leaping onto logs and the backs of crocodiles, but the frog could not stay on the crocodiles too long or else he was eaten) into safe 'homes' on the opposite bank.
Notwithstanding that frogs are amphibians and can swim, the frog in the game was unable to swim and would drown if he landed in the water.
