Frank LoBiondo

Frank LoBiondo, born May 12, 1946, was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New Jersey's 2nd district from 1995 to 2019. He had one of the highest Congressional ratings from animal organizations. He worked tirelessly to sponsor, co-sponsor or pass legislation involving protection of animals. He was relatively conservative on most issues, but uniquely took a more liberal stance on animal rights and the environment. He is one of the few Republicans endorsed by the Sierra Club.

LoBiondo chose not to run for re-election in 2018.
