Elmet

Elmet (Welsh: Elfed) was a Brittonic Celtic kingdom which makes up part of what historians refer to as Yr Hen Ogledd. It was situated within present-day Yorkshire in northern England. It was active around the 5th-7th centuries, having emerged following the end of Roman rule in Great Britain.
