Impeachment against Donald Trump
- See main article: Trump impeachment
Rep. Loebsack supported and voted in favor of the impeachment coup against Donald Trump, claiming that: “to ensure our democracy is not permanently weakened, there is no other option but to support the articles of impeachment”. Despite holding the title of being a professor emeritus of political science, Leobsack is apparently ignorant of the fact that the U.S. is a constitutional republic and not a democracy.
