Dannel Malloy is the current governor of Connecticut. He is a member of the Democrat Party, and as would be expected of a Democrat, pushes for higher spending, higher taxes, and generally more restrictions. Because of a budget the Democrats created and Malloy approved of, General Electric has declared it will leave the state and at least three others have threatened to.[1][2][3]
He has also been accused of other often unjust liberal activities. For example, a healthcare network in his state decided to vote on unionizing. After these activists donated to Malloy's campaign fund, he agreed to let them count every undeclared vote as a "yes" vote, and as a result, the Service Employees International Union was formed. He has been making an ongoing effort by any means he can, including the abuse of executive orders, to form more unions in Connecticut.[4]
