Coeus

Coeus in Greek mythology is the Titan god of intelligence and the axis of the heavens. He is the son of Gaia and Uranus. With three of his brothers (Crius, Hyperion, and Iapetus) Coeus conspired with Cronus to depose his father Uranus. Uranus (the Sky) would descend each night to lie upon Gaia (the Earth), each standing at a corner of the cosmos they held Uranus firm while Cronus emasculated him with a sickle. With Phoebe, Coeus had two children Asteria and Leto
