Burgos Cathedral

The Burgos Cathedral is a famous Gothic-style cathedral in Burgos, Spain. Started on July 20, 1221, it was completed in 1567.

In 1984, it was designated a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.


The entire history of Gothic art is summed up in its superb architecture and its unique collection of works of art, including paintings, choir stalls, reredos (retables), tombs and stained-glass windows. [1]
