Bukki

Bukki (Hebrew בֻּקִּֽי, wasteful) (fl. 2683-2763 AM) was the fifth High Priest of Israel and an ancestor of Ezra. (1_Chronicles 6:5,51 , Ezra 7:1-5 )

Bukki is one of three high priests of the line of Eleazar who held the office between the death of Phinehas (2603 AM) and the investiture of Eli (2843 AM).[1] Each of these three men is estimated to have held the office for eighty years. Bukki held the high priesthood during the careers of Judges Ehud and Deborah.
