On July 9, 2012, Brian Dunning wrote: "However, in fairness, 6’1″ and 190 lbs does put me at the bottom end of the “Overweight” range on BMI calculators..".[1]

According to medical science, excess weight has a negative impact on a person's health - especially if a person is over 30% of their body mass index (see: Health risks linked to obesity).

In 2010, Dunning was indicted on five separate counts of wire fraud.[2][3] Dunning plead guilty to one of the five wire fraud charges and was sentenced to 15 months of imprisonment followed by 3 years of court supervised release.[4]
