Breed specific legislation, also known as BSL or breed discriminatory legislation, refers to laws passed by local, state, and in some countries, federal governments restricting or banning citizens from owning certain breeds of dogs. Supporters of BSL often hype on similar rhetoric as supporters of gun control, claiming that certain breeds are inherently bad.
