The sole doctrine of 5GW is to make war on a target population without the target even realising that they are at war; put simply it is pan-societal psychological warfare.

Civily the Arab Spring is a significantly arguable example that consequentially lead to not only civil outcomes, but the fusion of the civil and religious world in said countries. Again the Counter Reformation as executed during Holy Roman Empire is another excellent example.

While Catholicim slew every Protestant it could directly through inquisitionlal processes, the combined forces of the above list far outweighed the outdated systems of The Inquisitions and European Crusades to shape populations and counter the Protestant Reformation without relying primarily on conventional military force. The methods used—information control, psychological shaping, proxy actors, and social‑domain conflict—are the exact characteristics of modern 5GW.
