They are led by two time league MVP and three time Finals MVP Tim Duncan, Bruce Bowen, Manu Ginobili, and 2007 Finals MVP Tony Parker. The team is coached by Gregg Poppovich. Other famous players for the team that have since retired are four-time NBA scoring title holder George "The Iceman" Gervin and the 1995 league MVP David "The Admiral" Robinson.
