== History ==
From 1948, militant conservative, liberal and communist groups fought against each other. In 1964 the Colombian army and the [[CIA]] won control over the cities. But on the 5th May of 1966, the militant communists formed a guerilla organization, called the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. A second group was founded under the name [[Ejército de Liberación Nacional]] in 1964.In the October of 2012 peace talks between the FARC and the government begun. == Human rights ==
The organization obtains its money from drug trade and extortion. FARC is often criticized because child soldiers are fighting in the conflict.
