John Peter Ricketts (born August 19, 1964) is American politician and businessman, he was former Governor of Nebraska from 2015 to 2023. He is currently serving as US Senator. He is son of major businessman and billionaire Joe Ricketts founder and former chairman of TD Ameritrade.[1] He support president Trump during both impeachments and criticized Nebraska senator Ben Sasse.[2] He also support Keystone Pipeline and criticized Biden over his decision to halting construction.[3] Pete Ricketts appointed by newly elected Nebraska governor Jim Pillen to be Senator for Nebraska at US Senate after resignation of Ben Sasse.[4]
