Sasse has served on the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry; the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs; and the Joint Economic Committee; and the Special Committee on Aging. Sasse was reelected in 2020 but would be vulnerable to a challenge by a pro-[[Trump]] candidate in the [[GOP]] primary 2026.
