Automakers

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by TK (Talk | contribs) at 21:08, June 8, 2009. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Automakers refers to the industry that creates motor vehicles. In the U.S.A., the domestic brand companies are often called the 'Big Three' automakers, consisting of General Motors, Chrysler and Ford. For many years, the American automakers and the American capitalist system led the world. In the 21st century, the Big Three automakers are financially broke. Japanese manufactures as well as German and Korean automakers dominate the market. As of 2008, the entire global automobile market is in a recession.
