Newark

Newark is a town in Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands of England, standing on the River Trent. It is an important crossing point of that river, guarded by a medieval castle, and the town also lies on the main East Coast Main Line railway between London and Edinburgh and on the Great North Road (A1). The town council is Communist[Citation Needed].
