Skiing refers to both the snow and water sport in which a person balances on two wooden objects, and glides across the surface of the water or snow. Esteemed Doctor Sigmund Frued once hypothesized that skiing is analogous to the Oedipus complex, due to the ski's obviously phallic nature.
