Environmentalists refers to people who are concerned about protecting the environment. Environmentalists support a program of reducing usage of power and materials, and the reusing and recycling of waste.
Conservative environmental organizations such as the American National Rifle Association and the British Countryside Alliance takes their cue from Genesis 1:28: "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it."
