Great North Road

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Fox (Talk | contribs) at 16:52, November 22, 2008. It may differ significantly from current revision.

The Great North Road is the name given to the main road linking London and Edinburgh. The route has varied over the centuries, but approximates to the modern A1 road. Traditionally, the road runs through Peterborough, Doncaster, York, Newcastle upon Tyne and Berwick upon Tweed.
