Frankincense is an aromatic resin used in incense and in perfumes. It was one of the three Gifts of the Magi, along with gold and myrrh. Today frankincense is available, but is costly.

Incense is still used by the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and various other Christian denominations. Incense is also used by other religious faiths.
