The Houses of Parliament in London are where the British Parliament meets. The main legislative chamber is the House of Commons where the elected representatives meet. Elected representatives are called Members of Parliament or MP's. MP's sit on green benches. There are 2 lines facing each other. The Government benches are on one side. The opposition benches are on the other side.
