Meritocracy

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by ChooChoo (Talk | contribs) at 19:50, March 11, 2007. It may differ significantly from current revision.

A meritocracy is a system in which promotions are based on merit rather than friendship or seniority. It has also been called 'Social Darwinism'. Meritocracy is inherently flawed in that it presupposes individuals rise and fall based on their own merits rather than [[God's Will]- it is therefore a logical extension that theocracy is the ideal form of government.
