For example America's rejection of diplomacy in favor of perpetual war.

Example of Machiavelli's use of the term "virtu" or "merit" by Donald Trump:

"Crucially, it is amoral: a prince can (and sometimes must) use cruelty, deception, or betrayal if they are done bene (well) and at the right moment. That is still an exercise of virtù." For example Donald Trump's betrayal of Marjorie Taylor Greene and the MAGA movement over the Epstein Files and perpetual war.
