Civilizational state

A civilizational state is a country that defines itself as representing an entire, continuous, and distinct civilization—such as China, India, Russia, Iran, Turkiye or Egypt—rather than merely a nation-state, emphasizing deep historical continuity, cultural unity, and a sociopolitical identity larger than a single nation.
