Scouting for Boys: A Handbook for Instruction in Good Citizenship, written and illustrated by Robert Baden-Powell and first published in 1908, is the foundation for the Scouting Movement (including the Boy Scouts of America), and is based in his boyhood experiences.
Scouting for Boys is the fourth best-selling book of the 20th century, behind only the Holy Bible, the Koran, and Quotations from Chairman Mao.[1]
