Curt Schilling (born November 14, 1966 in Anchorage, Alaska) is an American baseball player currently playing for the Boston Red Sox. A starting pitcher for most of his major league career, he has played on two World Series winning teams, the 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks and the 2004 Boston Red Sox. He is known throughout baseball for his quick wit, friendly nature, and conservative ideology. Among many fans he is known to have a "big mouth", speaking about topics about which he has no understanding such as the 2004 presidential election and Barry Bonds' home life.
