A Decline of Christianity in America -- the United States -- has been slow but steady since at least 2007, when 78% of Americans self-identified as Christian. As of December 2021, only 63% did, according to a survey by the Pew Research Center.[1]
At the same time, the highly religious Amish community in the United States has been booming, as has Christianity in Africa.
Contributing factors to this decline, along with an associated rise in addiction and other problems, include:
- secularization
- liberal media
- Hollywood values and video game addiction
- increased liberal indoctrination in public school
- lack of awareness and reading of the Bible
