Ohio Issue 2 (2022) is a ballot initiative that would make Ohio the 6th state to ban voting by illegal aliens in non-federal elections. Federal elections are already limited to United States citizens by federal law.

The other 5 states with constitutional bans on voting by illegal aliens are Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and North Dakota.

New York City, San Francisco, and some cities in Maryland and Vermont allow illegal aliens to vote in non-federal elections.
