Texarkana, Texas is a city in the northeast corner of Texas.
It is located on the state line with Arkansas and is adjacent to the city of Texarkana, Arkansas.
Businessman and former Presidential candidate Ross Perot, and ragtime composer Scott Joplin, were born in the city.
The American Baptist Association, a conservative-leaning Baptist denomination, is headquartered in the city.
