Talk:Anklebiter
note for Cons
Cons: I can appreciate that you saw my note on Andy's talk page: [1], making reference to an "anklebiter", and proudly pointing out that I wrote that page. And I know that you appreciate good anecdotes and linguistic devices and such. And that you were pleased to see a reference to that picturesque term. So much so that, 61 minutes later you created the page Atheists and unreasonableness page, featuring a quote from someone called "Vox Day", which quote was from an article that Mr. Day had written 4 years previous. It is impressive that you made the connection between that 4 year old page ad your notice of my anklebiter page.
Now I'm not sure that that one cute term is worth creating a whole article for, with 82 versions over the course of one (Vox) Day. I would think that you must have noticed the unreasonableness of atheists prior to that.
That said, I don't think Vox Day's perception of atheists as anklebiters means that there is necessarily a logical connection from anklebiters to atheists. There may be an obvious logical connection from atheists to anklebiters (at least Vox Day seems to think so), but I don't think it's obvious in the other direction. Putting it another way, it may be that all atheists are anklebiters, but it isn't true that all anklebiters are atheists.
Accordingly, I have removed the wikilink that you put in. I hope you will understand.

- Your feedback was fairminded in terms of removing the external link.
- P.S. The article Atheists and unreasonableness is fairly popular. Already it has nearly 1,000 page views. :)Conservative (talk) 11:42, 26 July 2019 (EDT)
