Cory Booker, a liberal Democrat, is the junior United States Senator from New Jersey, having been elected in a special election on October 16, 2013, to fill the seat vacated by the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg. He previously served as mayor of Newark, New Jersey.

Booker wrote in a 1992 article in The Stanford Daily of groping a girl's breast at a New Year's Eve party when he was 15 years of age.[1] Liberals and Democrats seem to have had no problem with this admission, in contrast to their reactions to unsubstantiated allegations made against conservatives (see Left-wing war on women).
