Robin Morgan (born 1941) was a former child star-turned feminist. She wrote at one point:

  • “We can’t destroy the inequities between men and women until we destroy marriage.” – Sisterhood is Powerful, 1970, p. 537 [1]

She was also infamous for orchestrating the Miss America protest on September 7, 1968 at the Atlantic City boardwalk where female products, which were listed as "instruments of oppression", were placed into "freedom trash cans", and also having a live sheep crowned Miss America.
