Ugly American is a term that describes rude behavior by some Americans when they are guests in other countries, such as disparaging their hosts or vandalizing property.
Overrated Sports Star Ryan Lochte did both near the end of the 2016 Summer Olympics, creating a massive news story of falsehoods that disparaged the gracious host at a time when they should have been receiving credit for their hospitality.
