Arlington is a city in Texas, and has a population of 367,000. It is located between Dallas and Fort Worth.

It is best known as the home of Six Flags Over Texas, the Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Arlington Baptist University, founded by the late fundamentalist J. Frank Norris, is located on the far west side of the city. In terms of academic offerings it is home to The University of Texas at Arlington, the second-largest of the University of Texas System campuses (with the potential to be its largest).

Ranking Among the Most Conservative American Cities

It is fourteenth in the list of most conservative American cities and the fourth most conservative among Texas' big cities.[1]
