One man, one vote is a slogan used by those favoring democracy (which undermines our Republic) which was introduced by a series of court cases in the 1960's: Reynolds v. Sims and Baker v. Carr. It undermines safeguards against democracy such as the states and the electoral college.
The phrase is also popular among supporters of the National Popular Vote.
