The B61 nuclear bomb is a nuclear weapon designed in 1963 intended as a response to the arms race of the Cold War, until 1968 it was known as the TX-61 and was built in Los Alamos National Laboratory. The production of this weapon was started in 1965 and has approximately 3,155 versions which was built. Basic weight of the weapon is about 700 lb (320 kg).
