Matt Bevin is the conservative Republican nominee for governor of Kentucky in its 2015 election. Unlike virtually States, Kentucky elects its governor in the odd-numbered year prior to a presidential election.
Two months prior to the election, Bevin indicated his full support for Christian clerk Kim Davis, who declines to repudiate the Bible by issuing homosexual marriage licenses.
