Gender Gap

Gender Gap is the real or perceived tendency for men and women to have different views on certain political issues, different levels of obtainment in various skill sets, and even different populations in various programs - for example, AP classes.
In Education
The "Gender gap" is one reason cited for Title IX funding in schools, to provide "access" for female students to sports, sporting venues, and competition.
College
In recent years, women have gained considerably in college. For example, in 1970, merely 42% of all college graduates were women; in 2010, 57% were women.
