Ronald Sylvester “Ron” Barber (born August 25, 1945, age 80) was the United States Representative for the 2nd congressional district of Arizona from 2013 to 2015. He is a member of the Democratic Party. From June 19, 2012, until January 3, 2013, he represented Arizona's 8th district, which post he won in a special election to replace Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
