Talk:Ideology
True or False?
I don't think one can say that Maoism, Fascism, capitalism, or fundamentalist Christianity - just to name a few ideologies - are "true" or "false." One might argue the relative merits or inherent value of these ideologies, but it would make little sense to say that Maoism is "false" or that capitalism is "true." The idea that capitalism is an ideology rather than a set of immutable laws is one of the biggest myths and Cold War hangovers among Marxists & non-Marxists alike on a global scale. Capitalism is not necessarily synonymous with freedom & democracy. Lenin, Stalin & Mao all operated capitalist systems, albeit incompetently (based on a deceptive ideology). Non-democratic oligarchs & globalists are, first and foremost, capitalists. RobSZelensky Must Go! 00:13, March 16, 2025 (EDT)
