March 2017 UK terror attack. On 22 March 2017 a terrorist atrocity was committed in London, England. The terrorist drove a car on the sidewalk across Westminster Bridge, knocking down pedestrians. The car then crashed into railings outside the Houses of Parliament. The terrorist ran into the grounds of the Houses of Parliament and stabbed an unarmed police officer, killing him. The terrorist, who has been named as Khalid Masood, was then shot dead by armed police officers. It is believed that he was inspired by Islamic extremism. [1]

Victims

About 30 people were injured by the car on the bridge and two of them died. They were British woman Aysha Frade and American tourist Kurt Cochrain. The policeman who was killed at the Houses of Parliament was Keith Palmer.[2]
