Albaphobia, also known as Scotophobia and anti-Scottish settlement, refers to the hatred or dislike of, or discrimination against, Scots, Scotland, or Scottish culture. More broadly, it can refer to the hatred of the wider Scottish diaspora, such as the Ulster Scots; a good example of which is the frequent attempts by far-left Irish 'nationalists', who attempt to deny the existence of Ulster Scots culture.[1]
