Ricardo Antonio Rosselló Nevares (born March 7, 1979) is the 12th elected governor of the United States Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He is the current governor sonce January 2017. Rossello is a Puerto Rico Statehood supporter and member of the Puerto Rico's pro-statehood New Progressive Party (PNP) and the United States's Democratic Party.

In the 2016 Puerto Rico elections, Rosselló won by an 6.76% margin against the liberal Popular Democratic Party (PPD) candidate, David Bernier.

As a governor, Rosselló supports the gun control.[1]
