The term Palestinian generally refers to Palestinian Arabs who seek to create a homeland in some or all of Palestine - those advocating the latter view often advocate the destruction of the state of Israel. Most Palestinians reside in Gaza, the West Bank, or Jordan. The King of Jordan has refused to grant citizenship to Arab refugees from Palestine, in part due to political pressure from other Islamic countries.
