I will not edit this page as it is JacobB's project, but I would like to mention something. Ancient Chinese was logographic, however modern characters are a mix of logograpic and phonographic radicals. I am researching this, and it looks like these mixed characters appeared first during the Qin-Han period as part of their standardizing efforts. Just letting you know.--Wuhao1911 00:28, 4 January 2010 (EST)

Wuhao, please. This is a wiki, it is meant to be collaborative! And even if this was "my project," I would be a fool to ignore your suggestions on the topic of the Chinese language. Please, please, improve the article however you like! JacobB 00:38, 4 January 2010 (EST)
