The 2024 Summer Olympics, branded as Paris 2024 (the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad) are being held in Paris, France. They officially begin on July 26, 2021, and last for 19 days until August 11, 2024 (handball, rugby, and soccer begin on July 24). There is a total of 329 events.
Air Conditioning Hypocrisy
Countries that impose global warming restrictions on others will provide special air conditioning units for their own athletes. The United States, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Greece, Denmark and Australia are all planning to install portable air conditioners for their athletes while competitors from poorer countries will suffer in the extreme summer heat without the host country France providing any air conditioners.[1]
