He married Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Middleton (born January 9, 1982) on April 29, 2011,[1] whereupon his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, bestowed them with the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Earl and Countess of Strathearn and Baron and Lady Carrickfergus.
The Duke and Duchess have two children: a son, Prince George of Cambridge, born July 22, 2013,[2] and a daughter, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, born May 2, 2015.[3]
