Talk:Prince William of Wales
More people watched William+Kate than Harry+Meghan?
Please find a source for this claim. According to [1], William and Kate had 22.8 million in the US and, while Harry and Meghan had 29.2. (This isn't surprising, since the bride in the latter case was American.) In the UK it was 24 million for William and Kate and 18 million for Harry and Meghan. This comes to 46.8 vs. 47.2.
Of course, this apparently counts only TV watching, not other stuff like internet feeds, and the UK numbers come from different news organizations. I assume the number of people actually present was, in both cases, insignificant by comparison. It would be good if we could see accurate and reliable numbers.
I don't doubt that William and Kate's wedding broke the record at the time it took place.

- No doubt some Brits watched the wedding on the telly because they were afraid of driving to the wedding due to the plague of potholes in Britain (see: United Kingdom's road repair crisis). :)Conservative (talk) 21:39, 21 May 2018 (EDT)
- Cons, some of us are trying to be serious, and treat issues seriously. :(
- As I said above, the number of people watching on the telly presumably vastly outnumbered the number of people seeing the wedding in person. I doubt that St. George's Chapel can hold 400,000 people, even without potholes in the roads.
- Your obsession with potholes is really tiresome.
