The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) is a Marxist terror organization in Columbia. It has 18.000 - 43.000 fighters.
History
From 1948, militant conservative, liberal and communist groups fought against each other. In 1964 the Columbian army and the CIA won control over the cities. But , on the 5th May of 1966, the militant communists formed a guerilla organization, called the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. A second group was founded under the name Ejército de Liberación Nacional.
